Not everything fits neatly into a category.

This is a collection of freelance projects, one-offs, experiments, and some of the work I've had the most fun creating over the years.

Turning a mission into a story

I partnered with The Rare Society Foundation to create its brand from the ground up, developing the visual identity, website, and storytelling that would define how the organization introduced itself to the world.

But the most meaningful part of the project was finding a way to connect the identity directly to its mission. I developed Under One Sky, a brand story built around the idea that every rare life is unique, but no one should feel alone.

The constellation mark was inspired by an interpretation of the night sky on the evening Noah received his diagnosis. Each point of light represents an individual life and story, while the lines connecting them represent community, advocacy, research, and support. A moment that began with uncertainty became the foundation for a brand centered on connection and belonging. Learn more about The Rare Society Foundation

Defining a brand from the ground up

I partnered with Salt Lake Dermatology & Aesthetics to build a brand from the ground up. Through a collaborative discovery process, we explored who they were, who they wanted to become, and how they wanted patients to feel when interacting with the practice.

From those conversations, I developed a complete identity that balanced the sophistication of a modern dermatology and aesthetics practice with the warmth and approachability of personalized care. Inspired by the natural beauty of Salt Lake City, the system extended across identity, color, typography, photography, voice, and real-world applications, creating a cohesive foundation for the brand.
